On his new solo CD, I Pledge, Worm grapples with issues of acceptance, injustice, and same-sex relationships in his pleasant tenor twang. Ballads are mixed with dancier tracks, all propelled by a drum machine beat.
While much of the lyrical content on his CD is about being gay, Worm does not consider himself an extreme activist. His version of activism is to be very open in his dealings with the people in one's everyday life. He believes that is more effective than marching in the streets, and creates a longer-term positive impression.
